Translational Fertility applies emerging reproductive science to difficult IVF cases where conventional approaches may not fully explain repeated failure.

In recent years, several assumptions underlying reproductive practice have been challenged by new interpretations of ovarian physiology, follicular maturation, progesterone signaling, and the timing of ovulation. Translational Fertility was created to help treating physicians apply these scientific insights to complex patient cases.

The foundation of this work includes publications by Dozortsev and Diamond in Fertility and Sterility describing a revised interpretation of progesterone’s role in triggering the ovulatory gonadotropin surge.
